Mothersday

Being a mother myself, I am each year amazed what my children come up with as a surprise for mothersday.
Every year is pretty amazing - I think back with fond memories to this one......and it is two years ago!
http://ellaandotto.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/mothers-day.html

This year I thought about my own mother who has come short of admiration and gratitude during the last years as mothersday in Sweden falls not only on a different day but month! - and - should I celebrate her on our (english) mothersday? or the mothersday where she lives (in Germany) ? or where she originates from (Sweden) ? - all are on different Sundays! You see it is tricky...so avoidance and a congratulation over the phone on all three days has been what I did for many years now.
But not this year, I thought - this year I like to make an effort to show her how much I love her and how thankful I am she still likes to look after me!
So here I share with you what I found on my search for some inspiration on "grown up" mothersday ideas...which can be given to your mum on any day of the year - Mothersday or not...

Cool Kidsroom Ideas - things that belong into your childs dream room

I love cool ideas for kids rooms.
I have an inspiration board on Pinterest named "cool kidsrooms"
I recently looked through that board and I noticed that a lot of my pins had indoors activity frames!?
....so it struck me - is that what a really cool playroom/kidsroom needs?
Something to....

hang off - slide from - swing on?

Here are my favorite ideas...

World Book Day

Today is world book day! "Dress up and Donate"

Our primary school always asks the children to bring in their favourite book and to dress up as their favourite book character.

My two youngest children went as "Pippy Longstocking" and "The boy who ate books"
They planned their costumes since the beginning of the week. They were so excited to go to school.

Do you still need a quick costume?
Check out this webpage!

Here you can find great costumes like....
Where's Wally? of Dennis the Menace or the Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Do check out as well the official website - http://worldbookday.com/
