Home interior trend Memphis in Kidsrooms

Maybe you have started to notice - maybe not, but the Memphis design is moving back into our home.
Love it or hate - the Memphis movement has always been impactful with its bright colours mixed with black & white in geometric shapes.
The Memphis movement began in 1980 after Postmodernist designer Ettore Sottsass gathered together a group of like-minded designers working in Milan. The group allegedly took its name from the 1966 Bob Dylan track "Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again" that was played throughout their meeting. They drew inspiration from such movements as Art Deco and Pop Art,  including styles such as the 1950s Kitsch and futuristic themes.
I grew up in the 80's so I should feel still too close to like it but I have to admit I love it again!
It's bright - it's fun it's - it's modern and would look great in a kids bedroom or playroom!
What do you think?

Paint the walls

.... or paint the floor

Lovely chairs from high end design but you could re-upholster or paint to upcylce something you have already at home...?

.... there is always the soft furnishing to catch a bit of Memphis in your home...
... bedding sets & cushions!
