Christmas gift wrapping ideas made simple

I am a huge fan of all sorts of kraftpaper wrapping.
We use it for our ella & otto product packaging and swing tickets. It looks understated but stylish.
As I love it so much, I thought I share some wrapping ideas for Christmas with you - you will see it looks great in many different ways, have a look...

Add a wax seal to a simple hemp string for a retro package look...

...add some scrap paper in a red & white colour scheme with hemp cord or raffia....

...or what about embroidery direct onto the kraft paper?

...make it personal with a hand drawn message or drawing....

...if you have a card stencil cutter...use it at the edge of a fold?...

...add some paint splashes...

 ...use some photos or paintings...

...fun idea to sew the gift into a shape!...

...If you like more colour look at these beauties!...

...like it even simpler? just use white paper on a roll and add a branch of berries, eucalypti or a candy stick!

Decorating Ideas for Boys Rooms

Boys rooms don't need to be in powder blue or Royal Navy. There are so many nice modern and alternative colour combinations around, away from the traditional colour combos.
At the moment I am hooked onto monochromatic colour schemes (for boys and girls!) I found some ideas for smaller boys to older boys. Have a look...

Love the highlights of mustard, mint green and vintage red! The graphics on the murial are just adorable too.

Why not add some gold details into his room?

If your boy really likes blue, like mine does,  I like the blue to be really dark... Like this one. We used sulky stark from Farrow & Ball. The colour looks great with some wood vintage furniture.

And the older the boy the darker the walls can be - great industrial influence with a brick wall and the letter lights!

Isn't this a nice finishing touch for knobs on drawers?

A great idea to frame a chalk board

This little poster made me smile....Great Wall addition for big or small boys!
