Tree houses for kids

The summer is ahead of us - slowly the temperature is rising and with that the opportunity for out door play! My children love their summers in Sweden.
A few years ago their grandfather ("morfar" he is called in Sweden - mothers father) built them a tree house. It took a whole summer to build but it will last their entire childhood.
Its in the far back of the garden - surrounded by trees and next to a wood.
It is just a little bit too high for parents with small children to be comfortable but awesome for older children to hide away. Its a "no adult" place. They have a pulley with a basket where we adults can send messages or snacks up to the top.
Its a space for rainy and sunny days, a place for adventures and collecting lots of memories.

We have found some lovely tree houses we like to share with you.
Looking at them makes me just wish I could have one for myself..........

And if not, there is always the option to build a tree house into your kid’s room.
